The OCASI Executive Directors' Forum is an opportunity for sector leaders to engage in an open dialogue on sector priorities, issues and concerns with their peers, funders and other stakeholders.
The Forum also provides an opportunity to strengthen the organizational capacity of OCASI members and other organizations serving refugees and immigrants through new learning opportunities, knowledge sharing, and expertise.
Our theme this year is “Working Together for Change” and we are looking forward to two days of robust, topical programming with a broad spectrum of dynamic workshops, ranging from self-care to effective collaboration.
The Forum features plenary addresses by nationally renowned keynote speakers, 12 concurrent sessions, engaging panels, and roundtable discussions.
There will be ample networking opportunities, so don’t forget your business cards as the forum brings together Executive Directors, subject matter experts and other stakeholders.

As an ongoing practice at its Executive Directors’ Forum, OCASI is offering simultaneous interpretation services for plenary sessions and some workshops where presentations will be delivered in both of Canada's official languages.
If you're not comfortable enough in English/French to follow presenters or fellow participants' contributions to the dialogue, we encourage you to make the most of the simultaneous interpretation services that OCASI offers to all conference participants.
When you check in at the conference registration desk, an OCASI staff will direct you to pick up headsets for simultaneous interpretation. You will need a piece of identification (Ontario Photo Card, driver's licence or major credit card etc.) for this purpose.
When you arrive at the forum, check-in at the OCASI Registration Desk, located on the lower level of the hotel. There you will be given your name badge, the program (English or French), and other items. Please ensure that you attend the sessions listed on your workshop assignments.
There is ample parking at the Westin Prince Hotel. If you are driving to the conference and parking at the Westin Prince Hotel, please register your licence plate at the main hotel registration desk so that parking charges can be billed to OCASI. Please do not pay parking fees at the parking lot.
Conference attendees who park their vehicles in any lot other than the Westin Prince Hotel do so entirely at their own risk and expense OCASI cannot be held responsible for parking violations that conference attendees may receive.
If you need to unload your materials or equipment, we suggest you use the Prince Ballroom parking area at the back of the hotel.
